What happens when the alarm goes off?
  • If you are home and you enter your code within a few seconds of the siren sounding your signal will be stopped.
  • If you do not get it turned off, ADT will call your home, when you give them the proper abort code, they will not send emergency help.
  • If the proper abort code is not given, ADT will call for emergency help.
  • If no one answers, ADT will send emergency help.
  • ADT will also start calling your emergency contact list for someone to meet at the house.

The hostage code: If someone forces you to turn off your system, just enter your hostage code, this will turn off your system and send a silent signal for ADT to call the police.

Is there a contract to sign?
  • Yes, the contract is for 36months, with approved credit.
Do you run a credit check?
  • Yes, we pull a beacon score.
What is the monitoring charge?
  • The monitoring charge is $27.99 per month without maintenance. Automatic checking debit or credit card payment required. It is $32.99 per month with maintenance plan. This includes maintenance with a $25 dollar trip charge.
Is there an installation charge?
  • Yes, with the standard security system package, installation is $99 with the 36 month monitoring agreement.
Is there a warranty period?
  • Yes, you are covered for the first 90 days for service and parts.
Do I own the equipment?
  • Yes, with ALL-IN-ONE Security you own the equipment.
How is the billing done?
  • With your first draft, charge or invoice, you will be charged for the prorated amount of the month of your installation and for the next full month.
What is the difference between hard-wired and wireless equipment?
  • With new construction you can have a hard-wired system because we can pre-wire your home after the electricians come in, but before the insulation and drywall goes up.
  • Most existing homes can be hard-wired as long as there is an unfinished basement, a crawl space or an attic.
  • In the instance that hard wiring cannot be done or if the customer does not want any holes put into the walls a wireless system can be installed. With a wireless system there are batteries that will eventually need to be replaced.
How do I change my code?
  • Enter your master code then 82 and then your new code twice.
How do I bypass zones?
  • Enter your master code, then 6, then the two digit zone number to be bypassed. Then set alarm as usual.
How do I turn on or off the door chime features?
  • Enter your master code and then the 9 key.
How long do I have to enter or exit?
  • The technician can set your time from instant to 90 seconds.
